Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia

MED is characterised by irregular delayed ossification at multiple epiphysis.

The proximal femoral involvement can be confused with Perthes, but MED is bilateral and symmetric, has early acetabular changes and does not have metaphyseal cysts.
