Doctor Valenti Philippe studied Medecine at Paris XIII University and was graduating in 1982. He did his fellowship In Paris and was qualified as Orthopedist, specialist in upper limb surgery and microsurgery in 1989.
During his fellowship, between 1985 to 1989, he developed his first experience in shoulder surgery with Didier Patte, founder of the European Shoulder and elbow society (SECEC).
In 1991, he founded an emergency Hand Center closed to Paris before to be incorporated in 1995 as member of the Hand Institut in Paris.
He has served in many roles including president of the European society of Microsurgery , and active member of French orthopedic society and European shoulder and elbow society.
His expertise concerns : Shoulder replacement (as designer of a universal prosthesis of shoulder in 2003 Arrow); Arthroscopic treatment of shoulder instability and cuff disease ;Tendon transfer around the shoulder with a book published in 2011 and
Reconstructive surgery in child secondary to upper limb congenital anomalies and obstetrical brachial plexus.
